Principal - Elizabeth Urich

I am honored to have the opportunity to lead Windsor Middle School —a school with such a rich tradition of excellent education! I have been in education for the past 20 years, holding various teaching and leadership positions along the way. I am excited and eager to continue to partner with you to ensure our students’ success!

Along with the teachers and staff, I will work diligently to uphold the legacy of success established within Windsor Middle School by building strong relationships with you, your child(ren), and our community partners. In an effort to support Weld RE 4’s vision of Inspiring Innovation and Empowering Success, we will continue to prioritize a culture of excellence, collaboration, and strong communication.

One of my goals is to provide a healthy, happy and safe learning environment, so students can learn as much as they can. This has been my philosophy since I began my career in education.  As the old African Proverb states, “It takes a village to raise a child.” Collaboration is critical in meeting the unique needs of each and every child. I am eager to see your child(ren) through your eyes and partner with you to ensure that they have a personalized middle school experience.

Assistant Principal - Garner Agone

I am honored to be a part of the Windsor Middle School staff and community.  Since beginning my career in education in 2002 I have been a physical education and health teacher, coach and administrator at the elementary, middle and high school levels.  As an educator, I value the importance of our students' learning experience and strive to build positive relationships with those I work with.  I will work diligently to uphold the mission and vision of WMS to ensure that our students gain the essential skills needed to be successful members of our community.  I look forward to meeting our students and community members in the upcoming school year.

Dean/Athletic Director - Wendy Thomas

I am thrilled to embark on this new journey as the Dean and Athletic Director. My educational path is somewhat unique; after dedicating 13 years to raising my children and completing my professional running career, I began my journey in education as a paraprofessional at Mountainview Elementary. It was there that I discovered my passion for special education.

With a commitment to making a difference, I returned to school to pursue a Master's in Education: Intervention Specialist - Behavior Analysis from the University of Northern Colorado. My goal was to establish an autism program and become a BCBA. For the past five and a half years, I have had the privilege of serving as a Special Education Teacher at Windsor Middle School.

Now, I am excited to leverage my experience in athletics and behavior management in my new role. I look forward to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all students as we continue to grow together at Windsor Middle School!
