Band and Orchestra students at Windsor Middle build a strong foundation in music while learning discipline, teamwork, and the joy of performance. From the first notes to full concert pieces, students grow as musicians through regular practice, ensemble work, and live performances. Whether they’re drawn to strings, brass, woodwinds, or percussion, there’s a place for every student to shine.

All incoming 6th graders interested in joining instrumental music are required to attend the Instrumental Exploration & Parent Information Night in the spring. If you were not able to attend our May event, you must schedule a one-on-one consultation with Mr. Swanson.
